When she was younger, Valerie had fond memories with Claudia, before she went dark, about making Frankenstein boyfriends from the parts of different celebrities.  James Spader’s eyes.  Christian Slater’s angst.  Johnny Depp’s hair.  Kiefer Sutherland’s mystery.  Keanu Reeves’ ass.  She never thought he’d come to life, but there he was. And she was going to have to kill him.

my writing advice for 4-16-15 for those doing camp nano

if you're stuck on a new part (beginning/chapter/scene) and can't get what's in your head down the way you think it should be, don't worry about it.  just get down what you HAVE IN YOUR HEAD at the moment.  keep writing.  and then once you finish what you're doing at the moment, go back to the beginning of that scene and think about what happened before.  Even 10-15 minutes before will do.  I had to do that today and I'm not alone here so i figured someone else might be stuck so there's a possible solution -- hope it works out

just hit 20k.  still a little behind but it is manageable.  in the home stretch now until i hit 30k.

smut is hard.  it's even harder when there's a demon involved.  i'll work it out
